Help us bless North Park with a nonprofit commercial kitchen! This new space will serve as a resource for programs serving the community, communal lunches, and more. The first program to use the space will be Project CHOP, a job-training social enterprise run by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) that gives many refugee women access to their first real job outside of the home. With access to this new kitchen, IRC can expand its services to serve many more refugee and immigrant individuals with culinary arts training and food entrepreneurship classes, and realize the vision of Pop on 30th, an outdoor café restaurant combining the youth farm and kitchen.
All this also allows us to move closer to our vision of opening a sliding scale restaurant where all people, regardless of their ability to pay, can dine with dignity. Make a tax-deductible contribution today. For more details on our dreams, click here. See who supports this work here.
