Clergy and Congregational Renewal: Jun-Sept 2022

If this is your first time visiting St. Luke’s, or even if you’ve been part of the community for quite awhile, you might be curious about all the changes happening on Sundays. Our co-pastors, Colin and Laurel Mathewson, will be away from the church from June-September: first traveling with a delegation team from St. Luke’s to East Africa, and then taking time away from the congregation for sabbatical and renewal. We seek to make this time of change a season of congregational renewal, too, as we hear other voices preach and teach, and take time to share our sacred stories with one another in small groups.

During July through September, leaders of the delegation who visited east Africa in June will be sharing their experiences and the congregation will break out in small groups during the worship service to respond to their sharing.  We expect this to be a lively and life-giving weekly rhythm.

Please reach to Mtr. Hannah Wilder ([email protected]) or David Tremaine ([email protected]) with questions or a time of conversation!
