St. Luke's North Park is living out God's love through mentorship groups that create opportunities for life-changing friendships across lines of privilege and prejudice. There are currently four ways to join in:
Sumitra
In Sanskrit, Sumitra means “having good friends”. This refugee mentoring effort aims to provide much needed support to those recently arriving in our city after their flight from violence and persecution. Click here for more info.
Braid Mission San Diego
Braid mentors work in teams to surround foster youth with a community of love, care, and hope, setting them on a path toward healing from the wounds of foster care. Click here for more info.
Down No More
"I was in prison and you came to visit me". Responding to Jesus' call, Down No More asks mentors to come along side those incarcerated and walk with them as they rebuild their lives.
Amity
Our vision for breaking the bonds of homelessness by helping to reclaim dignity, rejoin community, and end isolation through the simple act of friendship.
