Alfred Barud Funeral Fundraiser
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred Barud Uzang -- grandfather to Fargin Neim and father to Krestina and Lewis Barud (long-time parish members). After spending some time in hospice and in the care of his children, Alfred died at the age of 88 in his home in San Diego.
He was born in Bakiri and grew up in Source Yubu, South Sudan. He worked security and as an accountant doing payroll in the U.S. embassy in Khartoum. Alfred has been known by others as a peaceful, generous, and humble man and we are raising money to cover his funeral expenses. Any help you can give his family during this time will be greatly appreciated.
