We are exploring a partnership with Gayaza High School for girls in Kampala that would bring a one-year ministry internship opportunity at St. Luke’s for a graduating senior.  We are looking for a family who would be willing to host the intern for six months or a year in their home.  This Christian high school is located a few miles from Kampala in Uganda and was founded by missionaries from the Church Missionary Society of England in 1905.  One of our St. Luke's Church members, Ruth, attended this school and during our Africa delegation trip we briefly visited. It was a pleasure meeting some of the students and the principal at the school and we got to hear a little about the student's busy school activities. We are excited about the opportunity to have the Gayaza girls' visiting exchange and we are hoping that it will be a mutually beneficial time of exchange of stories and of ongoing and lasting friendships between the visiting student with the youth, young adults and all of the community of St. Luke's.
